Street Fighter Pro Gets a Double Perfect in Capcom Pro Tour Grand Finals

Each week we bring you two moments, one of epic success, someone who absolutely nailed it! And another of an epic failure, someone who totally failed it. This week for the Failed It we visit the Capcom Pro Tour top 8 to see the worst offense in the Fighting Game Community happen twice.

Even Pros Falter

When Duwactik first lost to AngryBird in round one of the Capcom Pro Tour Online for East Europe and the Middle East, he couldn’t have known that was just the beginning of his humiliation. With the 3 to 1 loss, Duwactik was sent to the losers bracket. From there he would eventually fight his way through three other pros including; HydraMarine, Lohii and Big Bird until he met his rival AngryBird once more in the Grand Finals.

AngryBird was looking to make a statement from the world FIGHT! As Duwactik and AngryBird squared off for the first match, AngryBird finished round one without taking a single point of damage. This is known as Perfect in the fighting game world and to be on the receiving end of it is nothing but shame. That wasn’t enough for AngryBird though as he did the exact same thing in round 2! Being double perfect’d at the pro level in the grand finals is an amazing feat for AngryBird, but a big fail for Duwactik. AngryBird would go on to win the series and the event 3 to 1.
