With NBA 2k22 officially out for over a month, you’d have thought the discourse around player and teams OVR (overall rating) would have died down. But, the egos of professional athlete’s are not easily sated. Everyone thinks they deserve higher scores and in some cases, they might actually get them.

Both Justin Tucker of the Ravens and 6-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady of the Buccaneers, got boosted to a 99 thanks to breaking records in recent games. But, not everyone is so lucky and fans of the San Antonio Spurs actually have a reason to be upset at NBA 2k22.

The Spurs are officially rated the 2nd worst team in the game this year, with only two players on their entire roster scoring above an 80 OVR. Dejounte Murray is the best player on the team and his rating is only an 82, followed by Keldon Johnson at 76. Overall the entire team has an average rating of 78.

Fans of the San Antonio Spurs can look on the bright though, at least they’re not the bottom of the barrel. That spot belongs to the Oklahoma City Thunder who are just one wrung beneath them at 77.
