Nailed It and Fail It: Rick Fox and Pawn Stars
Each week we bring you two moments, one of epic success. Someone who absolutely nailed it! And another of an epic failure. This week on Nailed in and Failed In…
Nailed It!
Last week former Echo Fox owner and NBA champion Rick Fox held a 24 hour charity stream to benefit the Bahama’s Relief Foundation. He was joined by such big names Tyler1 and Faker from SK Telecom T1 and even received a $10,000 donation from Riot that brought him to tears. You can check out the stream below which raised over $60,000.
Failed It!
This weeks Failed It comes courtesy of Pawn Stars! A man appeared on the popular Pawning Reality TV show with a rare copy of the original Super Marios Brothers for the NES. What makes this such a special occasion is that this copy of the game was part of the original NES test market copy. It was still sealed with just a sticker and as the expert in the video mentions was made before anyone even knew what a Nintendo was. The owner initially asks for $1,000,000 so Rick Harrison called in an expert who quoted the value at around $100,000. When asked what the man would realistically want for the game he once again said…ONE MILLION DOLLARS. To which Rick didn’t even give him a counter offer.
