MoqiiZK Is First Woman to Win A Major Solo Fortnite Event
Each week we bring you two moments, one of epic success, someone who absolutely nailed it! And another of an epic failure, someone who totally failed it. This week for the Nailed It, we visit the Fornite Championship Series European Qualifiers. It was here that 14-year-old MoqiiZK became the first woman to take first place in a Fortnite event.
Nailed It! She Is the Champion
With 94 total points including three victory royales out of seven matches played and 6.1 average eliminations she has proven herself Champion material. MoqiiZK is 14 years old and the tournament was open to all Champion level players on PC in the European servers. To claim three victory royales out of the seven total matches is impressive in its own right. She beat out some other famous players from the European region including Mongraal, Kiryache, and Letshe.
MoqiiZK isn’t new to the Fortnite scene either. She signed with an endemic esports organization, Gen.G last February. She was also invited by Epic Games last season to participate in the Grand Finals though she only placed 75th then. It seems she’s really starting to up her game for the season in preparation for the grand finals that take place later this month. All eyes will be on her and her performance, but for not she gets our Nailed It for the week for this stellar performance in the qualifiers.
