Call of Duty League Returns on April 10th
Alongside their sister brand, The Overwatch League, pro Call of Duty went on hiatus after the outbreak of COVID-19. But in a post to their website, the league announced Call of Duty League returns to play this weekend, April 10th. Its been over a month since the last time matches were played.

Like many other esports leagues, the Call of Duty League returns to an online format. With many states in the US under “stay-at-home” orders, the league chose to cancel all remaining live events. Unfortunately, that means many casual fans won’t get to see their teams in stadium or participate in stadium events like the City Circuit. The CDL also said the remaining head-to-head schedules will remain the same. Meaning, the matches you marked on your calendar will still take place, albeit a month later. The lower tiers of Call of Duty play also received updates as The Challenger level and City Circuit events are now online as well.
The CDL, however, did not give any updates on the 2020 Championship Weekend but did say information was coming. Currently, the Atlanta Faze and the Chicago Huntsmen are tied in first place with 90 points.
