FaZe Clan Dominates Six Sweeden Major Finals
FaZe Clan, the most valuable esports org, has taken home the championship title at this year’s Rainbow 6 Major, Six Sweden. Defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas in a thrilling 5 game series, FaZe is the latest Brazilian team to win a Rainbow Six Major.
FaZe opened things up with a bang as they went 5-1 on the attack on the difficult map Coastline. It then took FaZe only two defense rounds to close out the opening round against the Ninjas.
However, FaZe met some resistance going into the second round. Playing Ninjas in Pajamas again, but this time on Villa, the win just slipped through their fingers in overtime. But FaZe Clan did what they do best and bounced back in their next two games on Bank and Kafe to secure their spot as champions.
FaZe player Gabriel “cameram4n” Hespanhol claimed after the match that “This means the world for us, but we know we have a lot more to achieve, we are not a one-tournament team.”
Will the competitive Siege scene continue to be dominated by Brazillian teams? We will find out next year when FaZe and Ninjas in Pajamas return to the 2022 Six Invitational.
