Cloud9 Win Nerd Street Gamers First Strike Valorant Tournament

Each week we bring you two moments, one of epic success, someone who absolutely nailed it! And another of an epic failure, someone who totally failed it. This week for the Nailed It we visit the Valorant scene where Cloud9 sits on top of the rest. The Nerd Street Gamers hosted a First Strike Valorant Tournament and it was Cloud9 who rose above the rest as the victors.

Sitting on Cloud9

The Nerd Street Gamers First Strike Valorant Tournament started with 32 teams. Among them such powerhouse names like the Sentinels with former Overwatch League Champion and MVP Sinatraa. As well as Gen.G Esports, Team Envy, TSM, and many others. But out of all 32 teams, only one would be leaving as champions.

Cloud9 had two teams participating in the tournament, Cloud9 White and Could9 Blue. Cloud9 White, an all women’s team fell in the first round to Slimy Boogermaen 2 to 0. Meanwhile, Could9 Blue swept Dimmadome$ 2 to 0 as well. They’d go on to play and beat Equinox Esports in a 2 to 1 match and then get revenge for their sister team. Cloud9 Blue faced the Slimy Boogermen in round 3 and took the win 2 to 1 as well. Only two other matches stood between them and the championship place, TSM and Team Envy. Both matches were close with a final scoreline or 2 to 1. But ultimately, it was Cloud9 who would take the final win.
