Following the conclusion of the Overwatch League May Melee, Jake and Robbie break down the roads to victory. Overwatch League, May Melee Tournament
The month of May played host to the Overwatch League’s return to a tournament format with the May Melee. The NA region and the Asian region competed in a single elimination tournament with seeding decided through regular season matches the three weeks prior. In the North American region, the San Francisco Shock met the Florida Mayhem in the final. After a 2 – 4 game series, the Shock took home the prize. Robbie and Jake break down the Shock’s road to victory. Plus, how did the Mayhem find their way to the finals?
In the Asian region the Shanghai Dragons took home the prize. The teams still managed to deliver an exciting tournament filled with surprises. From a near defeat at the hands of the London Spitfire to a full sweep of the New York Excelsior, Jake and Robbie walk you through the road to victory. But the Dragons weren’t the only story of the Asian region as the Seoul Dynasty finally found their grove and made their way to the finals to face the Dragons. Ultimately, Shanghai would net the win in a 3 to 4 reverse sweep.

Finally, Robbie tries something different and leave the in-game analysis behind to test another aspect of Jake’s knowledge.
