It’s a disappointing day in the gaming world as Naughty Dog and Ubisoft announce multiple delays in development.

The highly anticipated Last of Us II just announced their February release date in the most recent Sony State of Play. Today in a PlayStation blog post the creative director for Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann broke the news that the Last of Us II would be delayed until May 29th and provided details as to why.

While those who were waiting for the release of Last of Us II will only have to wait a few additional months from the original release date, Ubisoft fans will have to wait a bit longer for some their games.

In a recent earnings call it was reported that three games in development at Ubisoft; Watch Dog Legions, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Gods and Monsters would all require significantly more development time. The three games originally had a release date of early 2020 and have been pushed back to the following fiscal year of spring 2021.
