Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony To Disclose Loot Boxes Probability

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will be holding workshops on loot boxes today. The Electronic Software Association (ESA) will be in attendance. The ESA announced that major video game developers strive to take initiative and inform video game consumers about their purchases by disclosing the rarity and probability of loot boxes. Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony Interactive Entertainment will be taking this initiative including
Activision Blizzard, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, Bethesda, Bungie, Electronic Arts, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and Wizards of the Coast.
