100 Thieves have landed a veteran jungler for the upcoming 2020 LCS season. They’ve signed William ‘Meteos’ Hartman to the team and he’ll take over the starting jungle position this coming season. This is actually his second stint on 100 Thieves, having joined the team for the spring split in 2018.
Meteos is perhaps best known for his time on Cloud9. He played with a powerhouse lineup that included Balls, Hai, Sneaky, and LemonNation. The veteran will now turn his attention to trying to get 100 Thieves back on a winning track after a disappointing 2019.
Our Thoughts: …..meh. It’s not a bad signing by any means, but it’s certainly not one that moves the denim so to speak. Most people believe Meteos’ best years are behind him. Although if 100 Thieves plan to move forward with a younger roster, a veteran shot-caller in the jungle could be incredibly valuable. The value of this signing wont be set in stone until we see what the rest of the roster looks like.
