Keanu Reeves is Cool with Fans Banging Johnny Silverhand
Keanu Reeves, star of The Matrix, John Wick, and Cyberpunk 2077, is cool with his digitally down and dirty fans.
So Cyberpunk released last year to a plethora of bugs, glitches and other issues. While the team behind the game, CD Projekt Red, has updated the game with a series of patches, modders have stepped into the mix to deliver more… creative elements.
Hooking Up with Johnny Silverhand
Well, the inevitable occurred. Modders for Cyberpunk created downloads so you can get your virtual freak on with Keanu’s in game character, Johnny Silverhand.
What’s surprising though is that Keanu’s all about it.
In a recent interview with The Verge, Keanu was informed that his character in Cyberpunk was the most requested to do the deed with. Upon hearing this news the actor punched his fists into the air with a resounding “Yessssss!”
When asked about how he felt, Reeves added, “Oh my god, it’s always nice, when it’s nice, and…y’know.” Yeah, of course, Keanu, we know.
The Matrix’s co-star Carrie-Anne Moss responded with, “I on the other hand say ‘No thank you!’”
Unfortunately for Keanu, and for his frisky fans, CD Projekt RED removed the mod earlier this year. A statement from the developer says, “When it comes to models of real people whom we’ve asked to participate in the game, we kindly ask you to refrain from using them in any situation that might be found offensive if you don’t have their explicit permission.”
When told the news that this mod is no longer available, Keanu seemed to actually be disappointed.
Keanu Reeves Predicts the Future
But that didn’t stop him from dreaming. He went on to elaborate what the future of a potential celebrity-VR industry could look like, making a poignant statement about potential profits.
“So you could not even have to be there and people could have digital sex with your digital avatar…what’s it called right now, ‘For Members Only’? You could do a whole thing,” explained Keanu.
“Oh my god then you get the suit that’s probably made in Sweden or some German thing, oh my god then you’ve got the VR thing. Then they’ve got the data on you with your like, arousal metrics…”
It seems like Keanu has spent some time ironing out the kinks to his plan. To be honest, with the direction that the internet is heading in, he’s probably not far off. NFTs, the Metaverse, VR, all these things could culminate into something like this in the not so distant future.
Carrie-anne Moss on the other hand replied to Keanu with, “I hope…that I do not live to see this.”
