CCP the developers of EVE Online have been developing another game for sometime now. A shooter set in the same universe as EVE Online. The game was suppose to be more of a tactical shooter than a run-and-gun game. Sadly, we’ll never know what it could have been as CCP has announced it’s cancellation.
George Kellion, head of public relations for CCP says. “This decision was taken because Project Nova’s gameplay experience as presented at EVE Vegas ’18 would not have achieved our ambitious goals for this concept.”
Fans of EVE Online and those who were looking forward to having this universes lore and world expanded can rest easy. In the very same statement put out announcing the cancellation of Project Nova, they also announced another game. Very little is known about it except that it will also be a shooter but have a focus on multi-player and is being developed by a different studio located in London.
