100 Thieves Part Ways With Aphromoo

Two years ago, 100 Thieves made waves in the LCS community when they signed Zaqueri ‘Aphromoo’ Black to their roster. It was stunning to see one of the best supports in North America take a chance on a brand new organization. Unfortunately, the last 4 splits have yielded middling results and 100 Thieves have now parted ways with him.
Aphromoo made a name for himself on Counter Logic Gaming, where he teamed with Doublelift to form the infamous ‘Rush Hour’ bottom lane. He’ll now test free agency as 100 Thieves start Cody Sun and Stunt in their bottom lane for 2020.
Our thoughts: Aphromoo’s tenure with 100 Thieves was a disappointing one. It just seemed like they could never find the right chemistry. There were reportedly issues between Aphromoo and Meteos in the jungle, and then communication never seemed to be in sync between Aphromoo and Bang in bottom lane. Nevertheless, Aphromoo will have plenty of options available to him, whether it be streaming or playing professionally.
