Evil Geniuses are continuing to develop a competitive roster for the 2020 LCS Spring Split. To kick off roster-mania, they signed Summer Split MVP Svenskeren as well as Zeyzal away from Cloud9. Now, they’ve reportedly lured two-time world champion Bang away from 100 Thieves.
Bang is perhaps best known for his time on SK Telecom T1. He won back to back championships in 2015 and 2016 before leaving the team in 2018. He’s since played for 100 Thieves and will now start at the AD Carry position for Evil Geniuses.
Our Thoughts: Some people believe that Bang is past their prime, and there’s reason to think that may be true. If he was still so good, why did SK Telecom T1 let him go when they rebuilt their team? Nevertheless, he’s still a higher end AD Carry in North America. Nothing means anything until we see how he pairs with Zeyzal, but on paper it’s a good signing.
