The Houston Outlaws continue to add talent from all across the Overwatch League. So far this season we’ve seen the additions of João Pedro “Hydration” Goes Telles from the Los Angeles Gladiators, Jeffrey “blasé” Tsang from the Boston Uprising, Jung-geun “Rapel” Kim and Harsha Bandi from the Vancouver Titans and Chris “Dream” Myrick from the Montreal Rebellion Contender’s team. The latest addition is Tae-hong “MekO” Kim former off-tank for the New York Excelsior.
MekO joins an already robust line-up of versatile players and adds a much needed flexibility to the tank line-up of the Houston Outlaws. In the past Austin “Muma” Wilmont has led the charge as the sole main tank of the team, fulfilling every tank role from Reinhardt to Winston or Orisa. In the past Muma would be backed up by either Matt “CoolMatt” Iorio on the D.va or Alexandre “Spree” Vanhomwegen filling in on Roadhog or Zarya. MekO and Hydration offer further choices and flexibility on tank heroes as well as the option to focus player skill on specific maps. Muma still remains the obvious choice for starting main tank, but it will be interesting to see how this roster evolves over the 2020 season.
