Google Stadia To Launch With Just 12 Games

Google Stadia is set to launch in just a week, and we may have some bad news. While there have been many games announced for Stadia, we’ve now seen the official launch library. If you’re like us, it may feel a little light.

Stadia Launch Titles:
– Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
– Destiny 2: The Collection
– Just Dance 2020
– Kine
– Mortal Kombat 11
– Red Dead Redemption 2
– Rise of the Tomb Raider
– Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
– Thumper
– Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

Our thoughts: Yikes. Listen, I didn’t think the launch library was going to be any kind of world beater, but this is pretty disappointing. This isn’t like a PlayStation launch where there’s 20 titles and 8 of them are new releases. 12 titles, two of them new and I’ve barely heard of either of them. It’s good that they’re planning on releasing another 14 by the end of the year, but still. I was hoping for more.
