With only a couple months to go before the Call of Duty League officially kicks off, we’ve now gotten a look at their upcoming schedule. The action gets underway on January 26th in Minneapolis with all 12 teams competing in a launch weekend tournament. The teams will then take a week off before the season proper begins on February 8th and 9th.

Our thoughts: It’s exciting to see this all start coming together. We were worried that trying to run home and away matches in the inaugural season might be a bit too ambitious. That may still prove true, but so far Call of Duty League is checking all the boxes. I like that it’s a mostly weekly schedule with only an occasional break in the action near the beginning. Hopefully, teams wont have any trouble selling out their arenas.
