Activision Announces Key Details On Call of Duty League

Activision has finally unveiled some of the key details on the Call of Duty League. First and foremost, we can now confirm the name is in fact the Call of Duty League. The CDL will feature 12 teams in it’s inaugural season, battling it out for a prize pool in excess of 6 million dollars.
The teams will indeed operate under a franchise model, geolocated to cities around the world. Potential leaks may have spoiled the branding, although Activision has yet to confirm anything. The game will be played exclusively on Playstation 4, and the prize pool is set to be larger than what the 2019 CWL prize pool was. For more details, check out the league’s website.
