Low Team Damage – Episode 52 – The Cost of Change
This week Norris is out of town, so Robbie brought in Nate Bender to serve as co-host from the Checkpoint XP Daily Show. Nate brings a unique perspective to the show based on observations of the esports scene at large.
Robbie brings Nate onto the show to talk about his experiences as a casual viewer of the Overwatch League. What were his biggest criticisms about the 3-3 GOATS Meta and how it’s changed since the introduction of the 2-2-2 Role Lock Comp. Plus, with the removal of the Stage 4 play-offs, has the end of the season lost all the stakes? And what does that look like going into the 2020 Season with no stage play-offs at all? Could the Overwatch League 2020 Season be setting up the league for it’s first big misstep?
