In response to two mass shootings which left over 30 people dead in Daytona, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, President Trump made a statement today condemning the shootings and pointing the finger to video games as the cause.

As he spoke about the “glorification of violence”, the President, cited “gruesome and grizzly video games” which were now wide spread. Trump continued saying that the proliferation of these games must be stopped.

There have be that there have been virtually no studies with concrete links between mass shootings or violence and video games.
