New Nintendo Switch Model Has Increased Battery Life

In addition to the Nintendo Switch Lite, a new model of the regular Nintendo Switch is on the way. Nintendo has announced that this new model of Switch will replace the original one, and is identical in almost every way. The only difference is it has significantly increased battery life. The current model has a battery life of between 2.5 and 6.5 hours depending on which game you’re playing. The updated model will have a battery life of between 4.5 and 9 hours. It’ll debut at the same price point as the current Switch in mid-August.
