Week 5 of the LCS Summer Split saw an old legacy team finally get over a huge hurdle by beating Team Solo Mid for the first time in over three years. CLG looked in total control of the match from start to finish and ended the match in under 25 minutes. CLG also dominated the team fights more than doubling TSM’s eliminations 18-7 and took 11 turrets to TSM’s 1.

The win was so long ago that only one player, Stixxay, was a member of the team the last time CLG won against TSM. The win continues CLG’s monster run in the 2019 Summer Split as they are now tied for first. With only four weeks left in the season, CLG is looking to secure a first round bye in the playoffs.
