Following the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, League of Legends is no longer available in either Syria or Iran. Players trying to access the game in those countries are getting error messages saying they can’t log in due to U.S. laws and regulations. This is a pretty extraordinary thing that hasn’t been seen in esports or gaming before, and could set an unfortunate precedent.
