The NBA 2K League will be heading to Las Vegas for THE TURN tournament powered by AT&T. The tournament will take place Thursday, May 9th through Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at the HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor Hotel & Casino. All games will be live streamed on Twitch and YouTube. Fans can also attend the tournament at ticket price. This is the first time the NBA 2K League games will be held outside of the NBA 2K League studio in New York.

THE TURN will feature 21 teams, starting with 5 play-in games and followed by a single elimination tournament bracket. The prize pool is at $180,000 with the first place prize at $90,720, second place prize at $29,760, and third and fourth place prize at $15,360 each.

The NBA 2K League will also be introducing an “Archetype Ban.” Prior to every game of the tournament, each team will determine one archetype that cannot be used in the game by either team. After the selections are made, teams will submit their rosters before the game. More information on NBA 2K League archetypes is available here.
