Gen.G Announce $46 Million Funding Including Will Smith as Investor

Gen.G has raised $46 million in funding and it includes big names in sports and entertainment. The funding include actor Will Smith and Japanese soccer player Keisuke Honda’s Dreamers Fund, Los Angeles Clippers minority owner Dennis Wong, and Alibaba Group’s former chairman of U.S. investments, Michael Zeisser. The funding will continue Gen.G’s growth and expansion globally. Gen.G currently has esports leagues in the U.S., Korea, China. The funding will also help with development of Gen.G’s youth esports academy program, and the launch of Gen.G’s Los Angeles headquarters opening in July 2019.
