SK Telecom T1 is one of the largest and most recognizable esports brands in the world, in part due to their 3-time world championships and also in part to having Faker on their team. Now, they’ve partnered up with one of the largest companies in North America.

Comcast is looking to expand into an international esports brand while SK Telecom T1 is looking to grow its North American fanbase. SK Telecom will rebrand to T1 Esports though it is unknown if they will keep their colors. Overwatch League team Philadelphia Fusion and their academy team will remain as they are, and will operate under Comcast Spectacor, not T1 Entertainment. The new brand will look to move away from just League of Legends and begin competing in Fortnite, PUBG, Smash Bros, and Hearthstone. They have also signed an APEX Legends team.
