Formula One bosses are now saying that in the next decade, the worlds of esports and F1 will overlap. F1’s head of marketing, Ellie Norman, was asked if a sim racer could find themselves in the driver’s seat of an F1 race within the next 10 years, and she responded that it could happen within that time-frame.
