Big time streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek took to Twitter to announce that he is moving to Mixer. Shroud joins Tyler “Ninja” Blevins on the Microsoft-owned streaming platform, coaxing away the (former) top two channels on Twitch.
Shroud moved into the top spot after Ninja moved to Mixer in August. The contents of both Shroud and Ninja’s contracts haven’t been disclosed, so fans can only speculate how much they are making on Mixer.
According to a report from Gamesindustry.biz, Ninja’s debut on Mixer hasn’t translated to increased viewership in this quarter. It has yet to be seen if these exclusivity deals can help Mixer catch up to the domination that Twitch has over the space.
