E3 2017: Matt Mercer and Erin Cahill, Voice Actors for ‘Resident Evil: Vendetta’
Resident Evil: Vendetta is a 3D-animated action-adventure horror thriller film which makes part of the Resident Evil franchise, set in the same universe as the associated video games.
The film features the characters Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, and Rebecca Chambers. It is the third CG movie, after Resident Evil: Degeneration in 2008, followed by Resident Evil: Damnation in 2012, and this film marks the third with Leon as a main character.
Matt Mercer is an American voice actor involved in English dubs of Japanese anime as well as cartoons, films and video games. In anime shows, he voiced Levi in Attack on Titan, Jotaro Kujo in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Trafalgar Law in One Piece among others. In video games, he voices Leon S. Kennedy in the Resident Evil series, Jack Cooper in Titanfall 2, Chrom in Fire Emblem Awakening, McCree in Overwatch, MacCready in Fallout 4 and Yusuke Kitagawa in Persona 5.
Erin Cahill is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Jen Scotts in Power Rangers Time Force, Ted Mosby’s sister, Heather, in How I Met Your Mother, and Kendra Burke in Saving Grace. She had a recurring role as Felicity in the ABC series Red Widow. She is also noted to be the first lead female character for the Call of Duty franchise, as Chloe ‘Karma’ Lynch in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
