Solo Retires From Playing CS:GO, Valorant

Competitive CS: GO and Valorant player, Solo, retires after a nearly 20-year career in esports. This comes right after he and his team missed qualifying Valorant’s VCT Champions.

His biggest accomplishments include 7 first-place tournament finishes in 10 years in the CS: GO scene. Not to mention his career highlights could be a literal movie.

Solo’s skills in Counter-Strike helped to establish a competitive scene in South Korea rivaling the top-tier Chinese competitors. As Korea’s CS scene died down, he swapped over to Valorant. Here he helped his team NUTURN earn 3rd place in the game’s first international tournament. As Solo retires, NUTRUN has some big shoes to fill.

Solo now looks forward to coaching but he has yet to decide on which team he wants to go for. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that no matter where he ends up, his team will be lucky to have his guidance. Good luck Solo, and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
