The number 1 ranked player in the world continues to dominate Smash Ultimate. Following a loss in the winner’s semi-finals, MKLeo powered through the loser’s bracket to the grand finals of the event. He dropped a match against Samsora, a player he’s said multiple times gives him trouble. However, a convincing win over Nairo set up the rematch in the grand finals.

MKLeo had no such difficulties in his second go around. Despite every game being competitive, MKLeo 3-0’d Samsora to reset the bracket. He then took another 3-0 set to win the finals and the tournament. The win marks Leo’s 11th major win of 2019, and he took home the bulk of a $50,000 dollar prize pool.
