OG Become First Team To Win The International Back To Back

For the second consecutive year, OG have won the largest DOTA 2 tournament of the year. They are the first team to ever win The International in back to back years. Given the prize pool, that’s a good tournament to win as many times as possible. This year’s victory nets OG 15.6 million dollars in prize money. That’s a significant leap over last year, where they won 11.2 million dollars.

This year’s victory also cemented OG in as having won the most prize money of any esports athletes in history. The team of N0tail, Jerax, Ana, Ceb, and Topson now own slots 1-5 on the all time rankings. N0tail has earned over 6.8 million dollars in prize money lifetime. By the way, don’t feel bad for the team that came in second. Team Liquid still took home over 4 million dollars.
