After months of uncertainty, it seems the Houston Outlaws have finally found a potential new owner. According to ESPN's Jacob Wolfe, a real estate investor from Houston, Lee Zieben, has agreed to terms with the Immortals to buy the Houston Outlaws for $40 million USD.

When the Immortals acquired Infinite Esports and Entertainment for Team OpTic in their bid to join the Call of Duty League, they also put themselves into a conflict of interest having already owned another Overwatch League team, the Los Angeles Valiant. Since the deal went through, they've been seeking to sell the Outlaws but keep the OpTic Gaming brand. The deal is currently pending and expected to close in late August.
