Team Liquid’s top laner Impact was involved in a car accident last week. He was in an Uber when it crashed, causing significant front end damage to both vehicles. Also in the car was Liquid Academy’s mid-laner Insanity, who injured in the crash as well.
Despite them both wearing a cervical collar that evening, they’re both expected to be fine after the accident. Impact took to twitter to remind everyone of the importance of wearing seat belts, and it didn’t keep him from competing over the weekend. In fact, Liquid had another 2-0 weekend, pushing their season record to 11-3. The first win of the weekend officially secured their playoff spot.
