Champions of the top Italian Soccer League, Juventus, will not appear in EA's FIFA 20. The club inked a deal with eFootballPES2020 and will have their official branding exclusively on the Konami developed game.

This isn't the first time that the two developers have battled it out over branding. FIFA just recently wrestled back the official rights to the European Champions League and Europa League from PES. While PES has had a branding deal with FC Barcelona since 2017.

In terms of how FIFA will handle the deal, Juventus will be re-branded to "Piemonte Calcio" and will have a kit and crest designed by EA. However, all the players from Juventus will still be available in the game in all modes. According to a report from CNBC, shares of EA dropped almost 4% after the announcement was made.
