Riot Games has extended Echo Fox’s deadline to remove part-owner, Amit Raizada, by a week. Raizada came under fire after emails and text messages were released showing he used racial epithets and inflammatory language against other members of the ownership team at Echo Fox. The feud within Echo Fox came to a head when part-owner, Rick Fox, threatened to leave the team if Raizada was not ousted.
Riot originally put a 60 day deadline for Echo Fox to take action against Raizada which has now lapsed. The Commissioner of the LCS, Chris Greely, has said that should Echo Fox fail to comply that their place in the LCS would indeed be in jeopardy.
