Investors are showing a lot of interest in Microsoft, but it’s not for the upcoming Project Scarlett. What has investors interested is the xCloud, which is due to launch this fall. Like Google, Microsoft has a massive worldwide network that can support game streaming. Unlike Google, they also have a massive back catalogue of games they own the rights to and a bunch of developers working directly under them. The battle for cloud gaming dominance is heating up, and it looks like Microsoft and Google will be the major competitors.
